Here's something a few people may not know about. Want to switch from
your lovely KDE desktop to a plain Shell and back but without having to
save work, logoff and all the hassle? - No Problem. To switch to a
teminal simple press CTRL-ALT-SHIFT and a function key,
For example, I press: CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-F1 I get a terminal wraped in a
SuSE border. CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-F2 gets me a black screen with the standard
shell login prompt.
You can return to your pretty window manager with ALT-F7 |
