Here is an easy way to curve text.

I first went to the Banner Generator and made my text message. For instructions on using the Banner Generator, you can check this tutorial

Pick any color background, (I like to use white) and when I finish - I remove the background. I have those instructions for you in another tutorial listed at the bottom of this one.

Now we need to upload the text message to Imagemagick

http://magick.net4tv.com/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi.

Click on "browse" and find your image, click on it and then press "view" and wait for it to appear. When it does, go up to "resize" and write down your measurement. On this one, it comes out to be 206x58.

Now click on "FX" and backspace out the number. The only number to worry about is the first number in your measurement 206. Let's double it and make it 412. Now comes the fun part. I generally like to start off with -50 and then adjust the arc from there. So you would put in the number like this -50x412. Put a dot by "wave" and then "press to effect".

If the arc is too much, hit your back button (you might have to refresh the page) and then adjust the arc. This time I will change to -35x412 and you will see that the arc is not as much.

If I wanted it even smaller, I would change to a smaller number maybe -30 or -25, etc. and then put in your doubled measurement (on this one the 412).

If I wanted the arc to be larger, I would change the number to something greater than the -50 that I started with. Maybe -60 or -75 and then my doubled number.

When you get it like you want it, then go ahead and click your "output" tab up top. On the next page choose to save as a "gif" and "single frame" and "press to output". Make sure when you get to the last page that you double click on your image and bring it up on a page by itself and then right click and save it to your computer.

Don't forget you can take off the colored background at gifworks or myimager. If you need instructions for that, you can check here
