Shortcut to write and send emails Print E-mail

If you send a lot of emails you can create a Desktop icon that allows you to write and send an email without opening Outlook Express.

In a space on your Desktop, right click, select New, then click on Shortcut in the submenu. When the dialogue box opens type mailto: then click on Next. Enter a name for your shortcut, such as New Mail, then click Finish. A new icon will appear on your Desktop with the name you chose.

Now when you double click on that icon a new Outlook Express message will appear ready for you to write and send. When you have finished writing, just click the Send button, and if you have an Internet connection established, off your message will go.
