Learn how to add glitter just where you want it.Putting glitter on certain areas of an image can be a difficult thing to do using the free sites. It's a lot of trial and error using the different options and you wouldn't have much control as to where the glitter fell. More than likely it would either spill onto more of your image than you wanted, or else you would have to back up the coordinates so much, that it wouldn't fill the area you wanted.
Here is the glitter - Right click in the middle of the box below and save it to your computer.
I first took the image to AS and erased most of the bear and the sign below - only leaving tiny edges. When I finished - I had the flowers with only the tiny edges showing of the bear and sign. Before you start erasing, look at your image and see if you can crop the image part that you want to add glitter. That will make a smaller area for you to erase. I then took that image and uploaded it at Imagemagick and composited the glitter. To do this, go to http://magick.net4tv.com/MagickStudio/scri...agickStudio.cgi Click on "browse" or "choose" and find your image - click on it and then click "open" and then on "view". When the image appears, click on the "composite" tab up top. When the next page appears, again click on "browse" or "choose", find your glitter - click on it and then click on "open". Scroll down and set "gravity" to "center" and where it says "compose", click on the little down arrow and choose "atop". Under "miscellaneous options" - put a check in the box beside "tile across and down the image canvas". Now go up to where you see the "press to composite" button and click on it - *not* the top "composite tab". When the image appears, click on the "output" tab and wait again for the next page. Now press the "output" button - *not* the "output" tab up top. Wait for the next page which will show a larger image on top with smaller ones underneath. Left click on the larger image and when it comes up on a page by itself, then right click and save it to your computer. Then I took the glittered image back to Animation Shop. You will notice that the original image only had one frame. The new glittered flower image has 3 frames - so we have to match them. Click on your original image to highlight it. Go up to "edit" and then to "duplicate selected". Click on that once and then repeat the process. You should now be looking at your original image - but it should have 3 frames - just like your glittered flowers. Now click on your glittered flowers to highlight and go up to "edit" and then to "select all" and then back to "edit" and then to "copy". Now highlight your original image and go up to "edit" - "select all" - "edit" and this time choose "paste into selected frame". You will notice as you move your mouse around that you can move the image around on top of the other image. When you have it matched up so that it blends in - click your mouse and the image will attach to all the frames. You can go up to "view" and then to "animation" and click that to see how it looks. When you have it like you want it, then go to "file" and then to "save as". *Another note - you can add glitter to images with PSP, etc - but it will actually add more to the file size than adding the glitter at Imagemagick - and I like the choices of glitter that you can add at Imagemagick much better. Remember too that you can add different size glitter and different colors of glitter too! Here is the finished image -
