Here's a cool effect that many people believe you would need an advanced program such as Photoshop to create. This is a very easy project and one that I think you will really enjoy! *If you ever find that the Imagemagick site won't work in the tutorial, please check here for additional Imagemagick sites. http://www.mypcclinic.com/forums/sh...9984#post129984 Go to http://studio.imagemagick.net/MagickStudio/scripts/MagickStudio.cgi and click on "browse". Find your image that you want to use, click on it and then click "open". Now click "view" and wait for the next page. When it appears, click the "FX" tab up top. In the parameter option, backspace the number out and put in a low number and put a dot by "charcoal drawing". I used a 2 for this image, but you can experiment to see which number works best for your photo. Make sure there is a dot in "charcoal drawing". Press to "effect" and wait for the next page. When the image appears, click the "output" tab up top and again wait for the next page. Now press the "output" button - not the "output" tab up top. On the next page, click on your image to make it appear on a page by itself and then right click and save it to your computer. If you ever get an error message, just click your back button on your browser and then right click and save it from that page. |
