The My PC Clinic Golden Rules
1.) Post in the right forum! If it's an off topic subject post it in 'The Water Cooler'.
2.) Use a descriptive Topic Subject. This will help others help you with your issue.
3.) No trolling. Don't make posts that are inflammatory just to annoy people.
4.) Personal Attacks. Criticise ideas, not people. Flaming will not be tolerated. This includes any material which is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
5.) No pornographic, sexually offensive, sexually explicit, or objectifying material. This includes suggestive images, graphics, and comments. This is a friendly help site that is family oriented. Also note that we have many grade school kids visiting to view Linda's tutorials...so please respect this. Posting anything along these lines will automatically get you and your IP range banned from the forum.
6.) Do not post links to warez, warez sites or sites with pornographic or objectionable content. Only link to sites that are for family viewing.
7.) Each forum member may have only one account.
8.) Do not use objectionable language.
9.) NO Blatant Advertising. This forum is not free advertising space.
10.) NO Spamming. No commercial posts or flooding the forum with useless content.
11.) Message content. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages.
12.) Uploading images: You may upload images into your post as long as it meets the guidelines set above. This is not a storage area so do not use it as one! If we find that this is being abused than we will disable the feature. You may not upload images to use in your signature here...the forum is fast now but if this is abused the bandwidth will slow the forum down considerably.
13.) Downloading files: First off use caution when downloading files. My PC Clinic has no way of screening these files so use some common sense and scan everything before opening!
14.) Images should be no wider then 700 pixels as it will break some of the tables of certain skins.
15.) Signature images should be no larger than 450x300 (width x height) pixels. The number of images it not restricted, but the total combined filesize should be no more than 100kb. (Effective Feb 1, 2009)
