BTW! Everybody.

If you have noticed the AVG updates recently have been tiny files. Apparently, AVG has finally figured out how to ADD to the signature file rather than replacing it with each download.

AVG was never very clear about this -- but it USED to be the recommended procedure that you delete the old sig file after you d/l the new one. With this change to the method by which AVG updates its definitions I would think that this is no longer true!

With the program update of September 8, AVG 6.0 now supports smaller update files! AVG 6.0 customers will benefit because of the quicker distribution and download times of the new updates. In order to take advantage of the smaller update files, your system must be on version AVG 6.0.516 or higher.
