Frames yuck!
Some nice wallpapers there and am getting ready to check out the pages on Proxomitron. Even though I obviously don't use it, I'd still like to know how to configure it properly since it gave me weeks of headaches!
Good find Leroi.

I've often wanted to try Proxomitron, but just know I won't comprehend it at all and will probably wind up unable to even get online.
Same with those DNS tweaks Janusz and Alan were discussing a while back. I just know enough to be dangerous.

Proxomitron isn't particularly difficult to use, exactly. The problem that I found is that when you adjust a setting to accomplish one specific thing some other thing goes ka-blooey. And you may not notice it for a couple of days (or weeks.) And by then you don't know which tweak is causing the issue. Also, it seems to me that lots of the security and "ease of browsing" tweaks that are so easy to access in Firebird duplicate what the Proxomitron is capable of. I still have the installer tucked away -- and every now and then I install and run it, get flusterated (a great ballplayer's word, no?) and uninstall it. Phooey.

You are right Alan, it is not hard to configure, but it was hard to get it running properly. Then it seemed once I tweaked 1 setting, my proxy setting would get mixed up or my java wouldn't operate.
