Built in 1934 Almost 600 years after the famous one was built.
It was used as a summer home, used for many summers,This chicago building still stands today,
This tower has the builders last name on it.
After he died his family gave the land to the YMCA

Some speculate that part of the motivation to construct the tower was to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. A more likely explanation is its original functional purpose, to store water for outdoor recreational swimming pools. In 1960, the descendants of The Builder donated part of the park for the construction of the Leaning Tower to the YMCA. Other amenities of the employees' recreational park included a wooden tobogan run, which was in decay but still visible in the 1960's.

sorry guys....just now saw this.....will be glad to help out but don't know when I can post...depends on how the unit installation goes tomorrow...if I can find my snowsuit I will don all the clothes and find us another "search and find"....if someone would like to go ahead in the mean time that is wonderful......could not log in tonight here for the first time ever...don't know what happened.
