Does anyone know how to arrange files on one's own web page so that another person can get icons from it? If you click on an image to "save picture as," you can save it as a .gif or .bmp, but not as an .ico file. Is there a way to link the .gif images on the page to a zipped file containing the actual .ico files?

Not really sure about this but you have to have an association to .ico included in your file types.
Try Irfanview I believe his program will let you do what you want to do.

Well, I went and looked and read all the FAQs, and I am as ignorant as before. Does anyone know how to arrange files so someone can get an .ico or a .zip file from a private web site?
