Hi all-found some good new links. Getting late for Christmas graphics, but I save them for next year. These will keep you busy for hours, when you should be wrapping gifts (or maybe still shopping!)

Hi Linda--surprised to see you here during the day! I wanted to ask you a question....I want to put some text into a Christmas animation card. Now I can't use Picture It! Publishing right now, so I'm using Animation Shop. In PIP, I would make the text, save it, and then go to AS, duplicate to match frames and add text to animation. I've tried to make text separately in AS and then add to animation, but it always tells me text won't fit in animation . When I make it smaller, the letters themselves are just too little. They don't stand out enough. I wanted to know if I can just hit the "text" tab in AS and make it go into all the frames. Hard to explain, so I hope you understand me. I don't know of a free program to write text horizontally, which would help. Animation I want to add text to is below; have to resize greatly here. Well I didn't have to resize it for some reason. Want I want to do is add text on the right side of the animation. Never big enough letters, though to fit. I don't know how to "stretch" text in any other program except the PIP.

Susan, thank you, but will you please come and do my wrapping for me. I put aside 2 hours this afternoon for that very purpose, and ended up spending it sat at my computer.

Susan, I would just make a smaller, transparent image and type in your text and duplicate it enough times to cover the frames. Then insert it into your image. Let me know if you need any help.

Also, if you'll tell me the words you want in there - I'll do one and see if you like it and then tell you how I did it.

Often times, my text won't fit either so I have to keep downsizing until it will.

Another thing is to make sure you try "bold" and also all caps will help it to stand out. :)

Amie, I didn't even finish my shopping yet, let alone wrap! As you may know, a nightmare with cats. Then I have to store the gifts in the trunk of my car, as no room in closets for gifts. Can't lock the furkids out of any rooms, either.

Thank you, Linda. I must have been having a "brain fart" with this one! I was so used to using PIP for making text, bending it and stretching it, etc. Can't reinstall it until I get my CD-rom drive fixed. Afraid to be without computer for a few days! I wanted to use the animation for Christmas e-mail cards, as many people already have the Jacquie Lawson ones; but thank you for offering to add text for me. Hope you have a nice holiday!

Don't I just know about wrapping presents with the help of cats. Missy got the selotape stuck to her fur, and proceeded to run out the room with it, Cleo decided that the paper would make a lovely place to sleep and then started to claw lots of holes in it, and Ziggy tries to unwrap things as fast as I can get them done. As for the chocolate decorations on the tree, don't get me started on what happens to them.

Hmmm I know my present is there under the tree so I dont bother with all that activity - have to keep my strength up to eat all that turkey they will force upon me :)
Susan - Eve says thanks for more great links

Funny, Amie! I gave up having a regular Christmas tree yr. ago after they pulled the whole thing down--twice! And those were my good cats! I just love it when they rip holes in the tissue paper and wrapping paper. Watch your cats don't eat the chocolate, bad for them. I have a female cat I took in and she's making me crazy; in heat. They've closed the local clinic and I have to wait to get her spayed until after Christmas; have to drive pretty far. The regular Vet charges a fortune.

Okay, Linda--I tried adding to the Christmas ani. I'm not super happy with it; as it was difficult to center and I'm burned out from shopping I think. I may try adding "glitter" to the white text. Don't care about the size of the ani for some people, as they have Optonline--cable hook-up. Let me see if I can post result here without resizing--
