Free Jpeg and Gif cruncher

Happy New Year all--since the online Jpeg Wizard (free) isn't in operation at this time, found a new free one. Only thing is it won't allow you to save light optimizations. Good for MPC images, since I always have to reduce the heck out of mine for here anyway.

Thanks, Linda. Think I had it wrong, though. It only lets you save for light optimizations. I had tried a few different free ones; only to find they put a watermark on the image unless one purchased the program; or didn't let you save the image. Oh--I finally got my new CD-ROM drive! Nothing to it--that is, when someone else does it. A friend did it for me and cleaned out the inside of my computer as well. You should have seen the dirt on the fan! Now I can reinstall PIP and use it at least for non-animated images. Have to reinstall CD burner, scanner, printer and a few other programs too. Hope I don't have another Windows crash with all my stuff. Noticed my siggy? It's the one you helped me with year before last. I still love it!
