You need to update to 4.11 soon because they are discontinuing updates for 4.10 in the near future.

Thanks Crockett,
I got my new version installed and it seems to be working fine, even smoother and less obtrusive than 4.10. It self adjusts to the timing of the system.
I had a problem or two with Norton antivirus (2001 version) and 4.10 getting along, but was able with the help of Kevin McAleavey to get that straightened out, but there seems to be no conflicts or need for adjustments whatsoever with 4.11.
[added]
Two new nasties for a total of 2225 UNIQUE trojans (13,652 variants)
covered in today's update for BOClean 4.10 and 4.11. Come and get it.

I have it working ok now but it did have a problem with Safe System Monitor and the startup entry for BoClean in the registry kept being deleted. Don't know why and neither did tech dept. Have had to remove SSM.
It also says every now and then that there is a compatibility issue with GoBack and I have had to place it in the Excludes.
There were no problems with 410!

SSM, has some compatibility issues on my system too. I removed it quite a while back, I think even before I installed BOClean (the first time). I have read of folks having quite a bit of trouble they blamed on SSM, but have no way of knowing if it was really the cause of the problems, which were pretty bad. One person even blamed SSM for having to reformat and reinstall their OS, blamed SSM for a massive OS crash.
I use RegistryProt from Diamond.cs to protect my registry instead, along with BOClean and my other security measures, I think it is sufficient. I never used the application firewalling feature of SSM, was too much trouble to allow or disallow every program on my system to start or not. If I didn't want them to start, I wouldn't have installed them, LOL.
A good firewall will prevent unauthorized programs access to the internet, so I felt SSM was redundant on my system.

Thanks LeRoi for the tips, I have been trying SSM again and the registry changes have occured again with BoClean!. I think I will take your advice and uninstall it. I will look at Registry Prot as you recommend.
