I had a hard time choosing between these two photos when it came to voting, so I am really pleased that they were both worthy winners, congratulations to the two talented photgraphers. :)

thank you for the comment and votes. i was real surprised mine was chosen. all the other pictures were real nice. this is a special picture to me because both subjects are special.it is my granddaughter and her registered quarter horse sonny. she uses him in 4h. been a member since she was 10. she always takes him treats. think that is what he was looking for. she has him spoiled. he likes the snow i think. could of went into the barn to get out of it. thanks again

Thanks for the comments guys. My girlfriend had this picture enlarged, mounted and framed for me for christmas, and (even though I do say so myself!!) it looks very impressive. I was just out on a drive through the peak district a year ago and i noticed this sunset over one of the reservoirs. The light was fantastic and then the boat came across which I think makes the photo even better. I took one moments before without the boat and it just didn't have the same effect. Thanks for all the comments!!

Thanks so much for telling us about your photo, I had no idea it was taken in England. :)
