Spybot Catch For The Day

I usually don't nab anything, but today's scan caught 4 bad guys.

They were: MS.Windows.IEFirewallBypass
and MS.Windows.AppFirewallBypass.
Fixed both.

I'm wondering, could this indicate a problem with my Windows firewall? I've never nabbed two like these.

Tony, do you use window's firewall, or is it disabled because you use a different firewall like Zone Alarm etc.?

I just checked, and the firewall is turned on as well as the updates and virus protection for Windows. I didn't realize I had two virus programs, that one and AVG.

A concern would be, am I going to get those every time I go online and open up IE?

If Windows firewall is your only firewall, then those settings were a security risk. Spybot has fixed the problem for you, so you should not get these entries again. :)

Sounds good. I re-ran Spybot, and nothing found, so it's in the rear view mirror now.;)
