Just received this email so thought I would post it here in case anyone has problems on the days up to 12th October
Hello there,
You're receiving this message because you have an account that is
currently active on our servers that will be undergoing some work. If we've
sent this message in error, we apologize and feel free to reply so we
can straighten that out.
We will be migrating the accounts on the Kappa server to a new server in our new datacenter starting Monday, October
8th. The new server is Thrace
From your own perspective, nothing should change. The DNS has been
updated to allow quick transfers to the new ip address. If you are
connecting to the ip address just replace the old address with the new one. We
will disable access but not delete anything once an account has been
moved to ensure everyone is using the correct server, so if you are
unable to login using the old ip address try the new one instead. There may
be some software differences between the servers and we will be
checking each site to make sure it is working before we disable any access. No
data will be lost in this move. All of the accounts should be moved by
October 12th.
We're shooting to make this as minimally invasive as possible, but if
you have any concerns or questions, please let us know.
