Hey that's mine! Wow, 2nd win in a few months. Thank you to all that voted. I'll be getting a big head if this keeps up.:D
But seriously, this gives me the incentive to take more photos and try to improve my style and technique.
Now about the pic. It was taken on the Maroochy River one afternoon when I was on holidays. Would you believe there is a very busy road about 30feet from where these guys are sitting? I was driving along it when I spotted the pelicans. These guys just looked so peaceful and oblivious to the hustle bustle of the traffic that i just had to stop and take the pic. I thought they would fly away when i got close but they just stayed on the boat posing for me.
Thank you to all that voted for my photo!
Amazing that everything looks so bright and clean, birds boat and water, when it it so close to all the fumes and dirt from the road, thought it was miles from civilization. :) So glad you stopped to share it with us.

As stated I am trying to learn from Digital Pictures I like.
I came up using B/W 4X5 Cut Film Days.
Then finally moved to 35mm SLR. In those Days I used a Light Meter, but had to mentally judge from that, depending on what Lens I had on the Camera. If I had the 300mm Lens on it with both a 2X + 3X Extender on it I had to Compensate by 4 with that combination. I didn't use it much because of the weight + Needed the Tripod.
