Thank you Barb. Thank you voters. It was a nice varied bunch of entries this month, I loved them all.

I am glad you liked this. It was taken from my front fence. I had hoped to get a nice sunset shot on the shortest day, our Winter Solstice, June 21st, but it was a dull evening. This was taken on the 18th June.

As it was so close to his passing I would like to dedicate this to Bruce's memory. He loved his photography and I know he liked sunset pictures.

I am reminded of the old song 'Beyond the Sunset' which some of you may remember.

Beyond the sunset, oh glad reunion
With our dear loved ones who've gone before
In that fair homeland we'll know no parting
Beyond the sunset for evermore...
