Mcafee has just put out a "stinger" to clean your computer of conficker. You may want to take a look at it.

I downleaded it.
It needs no installation:)
It is effective today for 9 versions of conficker.

Downloaded the program and ran it.
It took about 50 minutes on my machine.

Just received a message from Avast that it has upgraded all it's defences against the 'conficker" and other viruses that may hit on April 1st. This is a day when those idiots try to hack a lot of PC's with this garbage. This is one reason I really like Avast, it seems to alweays keep up to date.
