I bought a new computer, as seen here http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=9174458&st=Acer&type=product&id=1218044490195

The first thing I put on it when I hooked it up on the internet was Avast and did a scan. It found a virus in some game that was preloaded on it. I went on to download from the web, programs I had on my old one plus one more, a ripping program for DVD's.

I did a scan with Spybot as soon as it was on here and it says it found 13 trojans.. I went back to Avast and it found something else and I got rid of that and did another Spybot sweep, it still found the 13 trojans. It says they are registry key.. Should I get rid of them? I tried to copy and past them to show you but it dosen't have that option...

I suspect that you are getting False positives. And I do not usually find that Spybot finds anything but adware or cookies. Although its immunize function might be useful.

I suggest you download, install and update the trial version of MalwareBytes which is useful in detecting and removing Trojans.

Also you might find SuperAntiSpyware Free useful for malware detection and removal.

A-Squared also can be useful for trojan detection but the last version seemed to have problems I think. Have not used the latest version. The updates were so long on my slow dialup connection that I have dropped A-Squared.
