thanks. i really didnt do a lot to this one. i played with it in photomatix. it is a hdr program with some presets. cant really remember which one i used, sorry. after i got the effect i wanted. i put it in photofiltre and took out the noise and boosted the colors.

You did a great job Bev !
I have the trial version of Photomatix - now have to get out and shoot some RAW shots.

Bev, thanks for sharing your information. I do have a question though . . . about the noise. Did the noise get on the image from the Photomatix effect that you initially used? Also in my PhotoFiltre, I have the option to "add" noise, but you mentioned taking it out - could you tell us a little more about how you did that part? Thank you again! :hi:

Now I am lost, what is noise on a photo, I can't hear anything

Noise, would be the tiny, grainy specs that often show in pictures.

i took the noise out with paintshop pro not photofiltre. made a mistake in my first post. there is an option in the adjust tab in psp to do it. if the exposer isnt set right on your camera, you will get noise when you take the picture. most noticable in the sky. it will look fuzzy. removing the noise makes the picture softer. i use the dust reduction in photofiltre to linda. never put noise in my photos so, i dont know how that works.i am not very good at explaining things. :cjlol: lots of tutorials about it in google.
