If a deaf mute went into a store and with motions of brushing his teeth the clerk sold him a tooth brush and some toothpaste.
Now a blind man went into the same store and wanted a pair of sunglasses, how would he have to express himself?

When is a dogs tail not a dogs tail?
Hint see attachment..
There are three words in the English language that end in -GRY. Two are HUNGRY and ANGRY. The third one everyone uses every day and knows what it stands for. If you listened carefully, I already told you what the word is. What is the third word? :hammer:
Amie...where is the GRY??
The dreaded GRY riddle! To understand this riddle, let me give you some insight on how it all got started - 20 years ago! This riddle, if told in it's "orginal form" is not all that difficult to figure out. But it's been diluted and changed so much over the years it has "no answer" if not told properly!
Here's an example how you may have seen it:
"There are three words in the English language that end in GRY. Two are HUNGRY and ANGRY. The third one everyone uses every day and knows what it stands for. If you listened carefully, I already told you what the word is."
Wrong, wrong, WRONG! No wonder no one can figure it out! So, you ask...what is the right version?
Here is the GRY riddle in it's original form going back 20 years. Look at it and remember that there are parts of this riddle that want to throw you off the path. Try to solve it, or at least understand it before heading off to the final explanation:
"Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is."
In its original form, the first two sentences have absolutely "nothing" to do with the question: "Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them." Ignore those two sentences. They are there only to throw you off. (Worked, didn't it?)
What's left is the actual riddle itself: "There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is."
The key is the phrase "the English language." In this three-word phrase, the third word is simply the word "language." "Language" is definitely something that "everyone uses every day"! Without that quirky little twist, the puzzle would just be another trivia question, and not a riddle.
Remember, the thing about riddles is, you must follow them to the letter or they just don't work. The GRY riddle has gotten so screwed up over the years, it's turned into somewhat of a hoax or a funky joke. So there you have it ...the GRY riddle solved!

Four Wise Words
A long, long time ago, two Egyptian camel drivers were fighting for the hand of the daughter of the sheik of Abbudzjabbu.
The sheik, who liked neither of these men to become the future husband of his daughter, came up with a clever plan: a race would determine who of the two men would be allowed to marry his daughter. And so the sheik organised a camel race. Both camel drivers had to travel from Cairo to Abbudzjabbu, and the one whose camel would arrive last in Abbudzjabbu, would be allowed to marry the sheik's daughter.
The two camel drivers, realising that this could become a rather lengthy expedition, finally decided to consult the Wise Man of their village. Arriving there, they explained the situation to him, upon which the Wise Man raised his cane and spoke four wise words. Relieved, the two camel drivers left his tent: they were ready for the contest!
The Question: Which 4 wise words did the Wise Man speak?
1)What six letter word in the English language contains 10 other words without rearranging any of its letters?
2) What seven letter word in the English language contains 11 other words without rearranging any of its letters?

Re: the "-GRY" riddle.
There aren't any COMMON English words aside from "Angry" and "Hungry" which end in "gry", but there are a few UNCOMMON ones including:
gry -- the smallest monetary unit in Locke's Utopia (named to recall the squeal of a pig)
iggry -- dialectical ("get an iggry on") for "hurry up".
higgry-piggry -- dialectical for "higgledy-piggledy".
aggry -- a type of jewel
and a couple of others.

You're driving a bus that is leaving on a trip from Pennsylvania and ending in New York. To start off with, there were 32 passengers on the bus.
At the next bus stop, 11 people get off and 9 people get on.
At the next bus stop, 2 people get off and 2 people get on.
At the next bus stop, 12 people get on and 16 people get off.
At the next bus stop, 5 people get on and 3 people get off.
Question: What color are the bus driver's eyes?
