XP loading up with Pop-ups IE

I have serveral customers that cannot use IE. Pop-ups and the below was email me and he is also getting Pop-ups. Is there a way to clean up IE. Have install Mozilla on there computers. IE jus explodes with pop-ups Thanks



am recieving suspicious E mail ----.I keep getting pop ups from( messenger service )saying Microsoft security bullitin.Ms03-043 ----Buffer overun in messenger service couldallow code execution (828035 )---etc.--etc . Also recieve E mail from Mailer-daemon @ m Failure notice---------------- I havent opened any of this stuff (also some porn pop ups ) What gives ?? are you familliar with this ?

Disable Messenger

Click Start->Settings ->Control Panel
Click Performance and Maintenance
Click Administrative Tools
Double click Services Scroll
down and highlight "Messenger"
Right-click the highlighted line and choose Properties.
Click the STOP button.
Select Disable in the Startup Type scroll bar
Click OK

**Windows 98 and ME Cannot be Disabled**

Service

Go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services > and scroll down to Messenger,right click on it,
click stop,then Properties > Startup Type > make it Disabled

A nice program to stop the Windows Messager is called Shoot the Messager. This program makes it very easy to enable or disable the Messager. You can download it here:

I like that utility RB, one click and it disables messenger in
services

I still like to do it myself though ;)
