You should not have to click on the icon in My IE2 to use it. It should be on your right click context menu.

You may find that ieSpell does not work correctly on some forums that have a WYSIWYG editor for it's Message Editor.

Ok! I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know, WHAT is WYSIWYG ?????

PS..I right clicked and I have no option to spell check in my box.

WYSIWYG = What You See Is What You Get

Is ieSpell enabled in IE and do you have the Spell Check option off the right click in IE?

The answer is NO to both questions. I don't have ieSpell in IE. I'm going to have to do a search and D/L it. Thanks for the reply.

You can download ieSpell from this link:

http://www.iespell.com/

After you have downloaded and installed see if you need to enable it in IE and if it shows up in the right click.

In My IE2 you will need to enable the plugin under Options/MyIE2 Options/Advanced/IE Plugins.

Sorry to come in so rudely. Is there a spell checker for FireFox, yet?

My Apologies once again :)

Thanks RB, I'll do that and get back to you if I have problems. One question, why do I have ieSpell check in my MyIE2 plugins bar, but not on the "right click"??
What I do have is "ieSpell Options" and when I click on it this is what pops up...

Bill that means that you have already installed ieSpell so you don't need to re-download and install it. If it is not showing up on your toolbar in IE right click on a blank spot and select Customize. Select ieSpell from the Available toolbar buttons and click on Add. Click on Close. You should now have ieSpell on the toolbar in IE. See if Check Spelling shows up in the right click now.

Well, everything is straightened out now. I had to remove my ieSpell and reinstall it. Now I have it in my right click for IE and MyIE2...Thnks again RB. :bd: :thLt:
