I haven't been able to send email from OE in quite some time, but everything else works. I can't restore because the tech I called insisted I had the Welchia worm, and I ran the fix and lost all my prior restore points. If I were to use the link you gave to d/l IE 6 in another thread (to medicated), do you suppose that would work to fix the OE?

Well that would be part of the fix but you are going to have to go to go this link and also follow the steps to repair IE and OE.

Please note this is going to require editing the registry so you can reinstall IE and OE from the copy you have downloaded or from your Windows XP install CD.
