To change the whole system font you have to tamper with the registry.
Start by opening regedit. type "regedit" in the run option.
go to :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\FontSubstitutes
Edit the "MS Shell Dlg" String Value [REG_SZ] in the right hand pane and modify its "Microsoft Sans Serif" default value to match any other font name installed on your system, like times new roman or comis sans ms.
exit, and reboot to note the change.
