I posted this at the old site but figured they were worth sharing with any new members. It's a link to my gallery album as I plan to add a lot more pics to it.

Great pics, Mike! It's amazing how gorgeous a simple flower can be!!

Nice photos mike, have you ever used Photoshop to change the color levels. It would really bring the colors out in the photographs.

Hi Phil...
Never tried it, I'm more of a naturalist and one of those annoying back to the basics guy. So when I paint I don't use anything but my picture (which I take), the paint, brush, and paper/canvas. No fancy materials or chemicals. Same with my photography, camera, film, lens, and the magic happens during development. =)
It's not the right way or the wrong way of doing it, but it's my way and that's what matters to me.
The irony of course is that I am pretty handy with Photoshop.
Cool good to hear you like and are creative with photoshop :)

Hi Phil, :)
I have been reading your threads..
Where do you live (I am thinking about your mate's garden)? I live in New England where we still have snow! I can't wait for flowers!
Also, I just got Photoshop Elements 2. Do you use the larger PhotoShop version? I took a course in it and it is fantastic. Of course, I don't have the $700, so I went for Elements.....
Any suggestions?
