Skip the Run box for system tools:Right click empty spot on desktop, select new folder, give it a appropriate name[I use MS sys tools to differentiate from system tools on start menu].Next navigate to the Windows folder,open & go to System folder, open & look for msconfig.exe, right click, pick send to: desktop as a shortcut. Go to your desktop & drag shortcut to your new folder. Add as many tools to the folder as you wish[most are found right in system folder]. When finished, place folder where convienent[ie: start menu or quickstart taskbar]. Now when you need them they're 2 clicks away, no need to go to run and type in.
