I'm ready to go Eve. I'm what you call a golf nut.
We have trouble here with the automatic mowing system.
The mowers get in the road.
I'll send a photo to explain our trouble.

P.S.Not the best photo I have taken but it will at least show you our problem.

Ron, do those mowers do a good job? Guess the would help with fertilizing the greens too. I dont play golf but I do like staying at Millbrook. It is a wonderful place, set on an old 19th Century wheat farm. Bob Charles helped design it and Bill Clinton stayed there for the APEC conference in 1999- bet that was a security nightmare. It is also popular as a conference and wedding venue. Then of course there is the golf!
You can read a Course Review HERE (http://www.iseekgolf.com/reviews/courses/course_reviews.php?cr_id=8&cr_cat_id=2&catmenu=2)
Here are a few more of my photos of it for you, they seem to have suffered a bit in the resizing but will give you an idea.

Looks great Eve. I have always had great respect for Sir Bob charles and have now had a look at some of his courses on TV and I like the rolling fairway designs that seem to be his signature.
The mobile mowers do a good job of mowing with the help of a little beetle called the dung beetle which grabs the dung and cuts it up and pulls it underground within 48 hours. Great system. The beetle came from Sth America I think. One of the few imports that really worked.
The resort looks absolutely beautiful. My better half spent 12 months in NZ on a working holiday with her sister in 1954/5 and she raves at the beauty especially of the south island and friendly place it was then. She still writes to a couple of families there.
Keep posting photos of your beautiful country.

P.S.Sorry about the highlanders last weekend, but they are close and they got a point for the match. (You've got me watching them now.)

Ron, tonight they are playing the Brumbies. Even with George Gregan not playing I dont think the Highlanders have much hope!:(

Eve i like your photography Thank you Phil! After a bad day that really cheered me up last night. My camera is just a Kodak LS420 which when I got 18 months ago I thought would be all I would ever need - point and click and idiot proof. Now of course I want more megapixels, digital zoom and more control. And I want PhotoShop! Economics say no to all of those but dreams are fee!

Dreams certainly are free. I love to golf, but am not very good. When I was practicing daily I had my handicap down to an 8, but now I'd be lucky to stay in the 10s! =)

:p I believe golf is some sort of sport involving placing small white balls into holes by means of a stick thing known as a club. Not to be confused with the actual Golf Club where many a social event takes place. It appears to be somewhat addictive, my husband has somehow caught the bug. There are usually 18 holes to navigate but it seems that the 19th hole is the dangerous one, often responsible for marital upsets. :(
It all seems a bit pointless to me
