For those of you with Windows 98 SE or ME (ONLY) that wish to upgrade the "look" here is a tweak to make windows look like the windows 2000 color scheme.

Windows 2000 Color Scheme
Windows will not let you chage "every" aspect of the windows conponents but the registry will....
Copy and paste this whole thing into notepad and save as "Windows 2000 color scheme". Once you have done so open regedit by going to 'run' and typing "regedit". Once you have done so go to file and "import". Now find thee file you saved (windows 2000 color scheme) and import the file. Once you have imported the file, go to control pannel and display then go to where you would normally go to change the color scheme. Apply and you will now have the Windows 2000 'look'
