I have just downloaded DigitalFilm 1.6.5 Trial and i think its great for post processing digital photographs. You can download the trial here (http://www.gsnsoft.com/df/en/index.html).

Here are two examples of what it can do.

Fuji Velvia RPV

I downloaded and tried the program "digital film" and was not particulary impressed with it. Most editors will do the same and much more. But I have a freeware program "DCEnhancer" that I reckon will do the same. Here I am attaching an original pic and two adjustments made with the program. I have drastically reduced the file size so please do not look for quality but I think you will appreciate the results.

Very good results John, I downloaded the program you talked about and it’s definitely better than the one I came across.

Glad you like it Phil, I have just tried the shareware version and it is so good I think I may purchase it. I have used the freeware for a long time and it has proved very useful.

PS By the way I like your pics very much.

Phil, How did you get the correct exposure for the branch against the sky, did you use exposure compensation or did you you use centre weighted exposure on a close up of the branch?
I have now tried the shareware DCEAutoenhance program and really think I prefer the freeware version. Results seem to be as good and it is quicker.

I like DCEnhancer also. Some other good free ones from mediachance are ColourCast FX, CleanSkin FX and BWorks (very good for converting to sepia tones). I also have one called RGB Lights which I need to experiment more with.
