AVG Update Automatically

AVG seems to update automatically for me and I'd like to have it do the same for a friend of mine who also has AVG. Will someone please tell me the instructions on how to set it up for that.

If your friend is using the free AVG 6, right click on the system tray AVG icon, click on "Run AVG Control Center", choose "Update Manager", check "Allow Scheduled Updates" and fill in the time and frequency.

And, if you're somewhat paranoid about what things can go on in a computer with no human to supervise (i.e., letting AVG connect to the internet by itself, which act might be taken advantage of by some malware secreted in your system or some other malware waiting to get in), check the "User confirms dial-up connection" box at lower left.
