I downloaded Mozilla 1.6 the other day and it's a great browser, but whenever I download a JPEG that is larger than my screen the part of the image that's below the screen is scrambled when I scroll down.I had Netscape 4 and it did the same thing.I was wonder if anyone had an idea why this is happening.

I really appreciate your help.

Hmmm. Odd.

The workaround (if Mozilla is otherwise well-behaved) would be to use a different image viewer, like Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/).

Are you, by any chance, using the same profile in Mozilla that you used for Netscape. Although I never had profile issues when I used Mozilla, others have -- and my understanding is that you should have a separate profile for each Gecko browser. I have no idea if this might be contributing to the image issue you have.

I don't know Alan.I did uninstall and delete everything pertaining to Netscape before I installed Mozllia.I do have an ATI graphics card and the Mozilla web site said it has had problems with some of the old graphics drivers. But the web site was saying these conflicts were leading to crashes.I haven't had any crashes.

You might try creating a new profile to see if the problem persists.

Start the profile manager through start>programs>mozilla>mozilla profile manager>manage profiles>create profile; give the profile a unique name (one character different is enough) so Mozilla doesn't get confused.
