Mozilla Firebird plugins

These are all the plugins that I have for the browser . Is it sufficient or is there something that I should have ?

Hi Jane,

That's enough for good basic functionality of most sites, that's all that appear in my plugins folder too.

Do you have the Java Runtime Environment (those files don't show in the plugins folder). You can go to the Help menu>about plugins and see what plugins you have installed and also whether or not they are enabled.

If you don't have Java installed, you might want to get that. It gives certain types of games, menus, chatrooms etc. functionality.

Look in add/remove programs and see if Java Runtime Environment is listed there, also see what version numbers are listed, mine says "Java Runtime Environment, SE 1.4.1" in add/remove.

yes I have Java2 Runtime Environment ,SE v1.4.2 (WinXPhome ) and SE,1.4.0 WinME . I don't have "About plugins" in the Help menu :wacko:

Sorry about that, Jane, I was on Mozilla at the time I answered you before and made a mistake there.

Just type (or copy and paste) about:plugins in the address bar and hit enter, you should now see the page.

Seems all the plugins you have are recognized and enabled.

There are more plugins available, but that's all I have and use.

The one thing I don't know about in your list is this: Microsoft® DRM

Is this on your XP system?

I think XP has DRM as an anti-piracy thing, otherwise I don't have any idea what that is associated with.
