I am not one to blow my own horn (really, I am not!), but I wanted the folks here to know that I have tried to collect all the KB articles (and other items) relevant to Service Pack 2 for XP:
My Service Pack 2 Page . (http://jmfmvps.mvps.org/SP2.htm)
I hope it is helpful in quickly locating answers and solutions to posts here and elsewhere!

I am still waiting for my free disk from MS but have one that came with an Australian PC Magazine - along with a 72 page instruction book. Wore me out even reading it.:egg:

OTOH, it's not something to be feared either provided that precautions are taken first, such as backuping up your important data for instance.

I was interested to read Scot's Newsletter (October)which was quite cautionary about SP2 instalation.
I have Nortons Anti Virus 2002 and am wondering if there will be any conflict with that?

Here's an FAQ on Symantec's site:
http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/sp2/faq.html

A good "pre-install checklist" here:

I hope this helps!
