Anybody used this program?:

http://www.webattack.com/get/regseeker.shtml

I installed it and it found lots of entries it calls obsolete, but I only let it remove 35 that I was pretty sure of. I also used it to search my registry for McAfee and Network Associates (possibly leftover from a McAfee uninstall years ago), but it didn't find anything.

Thanks. :)

This type of program can be very dangerous, so back up your registry before using any such program.

Yes I have tried it. It was still in beta when I tried it so I don't know if that has changed but when I tried it I found it to aggressive and deleted entries in the registry that it should not have.

Thanks, RB

That's reassuring, I think you are correct.

I found EasyCleaner too agressive also.

I think I eliminated some junk from the registry today manually, but only time will tell, LOL. :D

Good Morning LeRoi,
I have used a lot of these programs, and still do. I have Registry Healer, Registry First Aid, Ashampoo Win Optimizer and a few others. This one of yours is new to me so will try it out. I find that all these programs can be dangerous and that they all pick entries that should not be deleted. So you have to be very, very careful and only delete the entries you are sure of.
John
PS. I have now tried and like the program so will probably keep it, still in beta as RB mentioned.
The program is very similar to some I have paid for!
